K-State Strong Emergency Response Fund Application
Eligible employees may apply for grant funds up to $700 here. The eligibility is outlined as:
- "Emergency" furloughed K-State faculty, university support staff and unclassified employees
- Housing & Dining employees whose seasonal work was cancelled
- Furloughed K-State Student Union employees
Update: Administrative furloughs
If funds are still available, "administrative" furloughed K-State faculty, university support staff and unclassified employees earning $50,000 or less annually may be allowed to start applying for an award on August 9, 2020.
Priority will be given to those demonstrating need and awards will be reviewed each business day in the order of application. The certification process will take 1-2 business days after the application has been submitted, and checks will be mailed 3-4 days after the certification process. If your address is different than what is on file with K-State Human Capital services, your check must be picked up in the KSU Foundation's lobby, 1800 Kimball Ave, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon.

- Description of how of the COVID-19 health crisis and your furlough has created a financial hardship for you
- Mailing address
