K-State faculty and staff,
Your first weeks of classes are in the rear view, and K-State has posted the season’s first wins. As you’ve settled into the semester, you may have noticed a change to your fall routine – the absence of the All-University Campaign, K-State’s annual faculty/staff campaign.
Thoughtful evaluation of the campaign’s outcomes, as well as considerable feedback from faculty and staff, has prompted the KSU Foundation to reconsider our approach and make a strategic shift in the way we engage you in giving to K-State.
Instead of a concentrated window of giving each fall, you will now have the opportunity to give to the university initiatives you love year-round. Like other donors to K-State, you will receive appeals for support throughout the year based on your giving history. Some will arrive in your mailbox and some will arrive in your inbox, but all will encourage you to support the area of K-State you care about most.
Additionally, you’ll hear about the impact of your giving more frequently through regular K-State Today updates and other university communications. Each K-State faculty and staff member will also receive Good for K-State Magazine twice a year starting this fall. Previously, only those who had made a gift received a magazine.
We are also working on new ways to build understanding and inspire you — our valued campus partners. We can all be proud of what the K-State family has achieved together and the incredible outcomes students and the K-State community realize as we continue to connect your generosity with university priorities. We are stronger as we work together to boldly advance K-State.
