KSU Foundation to offer All In for K-State pre-application workshop
The KSU Foundation will host a pre-application workshop, Wednesday, September 25, 2019, for current Kansas State University faculty, staff and students in good standing who are interested in applying to be the All In for K-State fundraising focus of 2020. The two-hour workshop will begin at 10 a.m. and be hosted at KSU Foundation headquarters, 1800 Kimball Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan, Kansas. Workshop participants will gain understanding of what is considered a “fundable idea” and what is needed for a project to move forward as an All In for K-State application.
During the inaugural All In for K-State, more than $320,000 was raised in one day to benefit one cause, Cats’ Cupboard, the food pantry serving all Kansas State University students.
Fast facts about All In for K-State:
- All In for K-State is a 24-hour fundraising sprint to rally K-State alumni, friends and other donors around a dedicated campus project or program at Kansas State University.
- Project/program applications will be assessed by a team of Kansas State University students, faculty, staff, alumni, K-State Athletics and Alumni Association representatives, and KSU Foundation Trustees and one project/program will be selected.
- The applicant(s) and project/program representatives whose fundable idea has been chosen will join the planning and implementation of All In strategy. Applications to be the All In for K-State focus for 2020 will be available on the ksufoundation.org/AllInForKState website September 25 and due November 1, 2019.
Registration for the workshop is found online at ksufoundation.org/AllInForKState. Registration deadline is Friday, September 20, 2019. Applicants are encouraged but not required to attend the pre-application workshop.
